Tomoharu moves to a new town to live on his own. However, a spirit girl appears, bound to him through a trunk that his brother left him. Magi soon appear seeking the trunk and Tomoharu is drawn into a mystical battle as he learns the mysteries of this world, and the ghost world that was destroyed before it.
